Sims 4 Grunge Revival Kit Review

Two new kits for Sims 4 are out now, and if you are looking for an honest Sims 4 Grunge Revival Kit review, you are in the right place!

As someone who had an angsty teenage phase growing up, I was really looking forward to this new kit. And while I do feel that the items are a bit too limited this time around–even the previously released kits had a lot more CAS items–I am quite happy with what we’ve got. Here’s my review of Sims 4 Grunge Revival Kit.

All The Light We Cannot See Trailer, Release Date And Cast

I haven’t been able to stop thinking about Netflix’s All The Light We Cannot See trailer that just dropped a few weeks ago. If you have been around this blog for a while, you know how much I absolutely adore All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. It was, in fact, one of the very first books that I reviewed, and without a doubt, one of the first historical fiction that sparked my interest in the genre.

The Sims 4 team has opened up Community Voting once again for the next upcoming releases, and this time, we get to vote for new Sims 4 Kits that will focus on both Create A Sim items as well as Build/Buy mode items!

I have never really participated in Community Voting before, but this time, they are letting us choose between Rainbow Core Style and Goth Fashion for Create A Sim items, so I knew I had to jump in and cast my vote for these kits.

Books I Recommend to Others the Most

One of the most difficult questions I get from people is when they ask me to recommend a book. Which sounds strange; as a book blogger, that should be the easiest part of my job, right?
Wrong!

In a world where so many incredible stories are constantly being churned out every day, it’s not easy to pick a favorite or even one that everyone will love. Still, there are a few books that I do believe everyone should read at least once in their lives. Here’s my list of the most recommended books for young adult and adult readers alike.

What To Do When You Feel Overwhelmed

Have you ever been in a situation where you have all these plans laid out to get things done one by one, but then an unexpected crisis comes along and completely throws you off track? Suddenly, too many things are happening too quickly, and you wish there was a pause button so you could just take a moment to breathe. It’s easy to lose sight of yourself when you feel overwhelmed…and for the past couple of weeks, that’s how it has been for me.

Book Review: Song Of The Mango And Other New Myths by Vida Cruz-Borja

If you have been here for a while, then you must know about my love for fairy tales, folklore and fantasy. When I picked up Song of the Mango And Other New Myths, I was expecting a collection of fantastical, whimsical stories rooted in Filipino folklore and mythology, that would sweep me off my feet and take me to places that could only exist in my imagination.

I got all of that and so. Much. More.

At times enchanting and captivating, at times unnerving, Song of the Mango by Vida Cruz-Borja is an anthology like no other. With stories that openly and joyfully celebrate Filipino culture and heritage, Song of the Mango And Other New Myths is an epic collection of fantastical stories written with great, vivid imagery, along with elements of Filipino folklore as well as modern and contemporary themes.

The First 5 Books I Reviewed

Lately, I have been re-reading the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi from the beginning again, and each time I finished a book from the series, I went to Goodreads and re-read my original reviews waaaayyyyy back from almost five or six years ago…and oh my god friends, it was pure joy!

I’ll be the first to admit that my reviewing style was super immature back then, but was it entertaining?

ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY YES!

In fact, I had so much fun re-reading the thoughts of younger little me, that I decided to write a post on the first 5 books I have ever reviewed. That’s right friends, today, we are gonna take a trip down memory lane where I’ll be re-reading the first 5 books I reviewed on this blog and sharing my thoughts about each of them. Let’s get to it!
