Also, the covers for the entire Vampire Academy series excluding Last Sacrifice is just embarrassing. Yeah, I’m a cover whore. Sue me.
A POPULAR BOOK THAT EVERYONE HATES BUT YOU LOVE
The Hereafter trilogy by Tara Hudson! This beautiful series about a ghost trying to remember who she was and how she died and what she would do now brought me to tears. I honestly do not understand why this book has so much negative ratings–I read all the 1-3 stars reviews with an unbiased mind and I still don’t find anything wrong with it. I respect everyone’s opinion though, but for me, the Hereafter trilogy will go down as one of my all time favorite reads.
A LOVE TRIANGLE WHERE YOUR SHIP DID NOT SAIL
Oh dear. Admittedly, I am glad my ship did not sail for these books because…how do I say this without revealing spoilers? Let’s just say that the characters I fell head over heels for were simply not who I thought they were. So for what it’s worth, I’m glad my ship didn’t sail even though my heart breaks every time I re-read these books.

New Adult. I really do not have much love for this genre.

Rose Hathaway from Vampire Academy. I simply could not warm up to her.

The Starcrossed series and the Graceling Realms series. No thank you.
AN ADAPTATION YOU LIKE BETTER THAN THE BOOK
This one is so easy! The book Stardust was a 1 star rating for me, but the movie remains to be one of my all-time favorites. I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t watched it yet.

Omg you like the Hereafter trilogy too?! I feel like so less people aside from me know of the series, let alone is a fan. LOL. 🙂 And same, although I do occasionally read New Adult from time to time, it’s not a genre I actively look out for.
