Two new kits for Sims 4 are out now, and if you are looking for an honest Sims 4 Grunge Revival Kit review, you are in the right place!
As someone who had an angsty teenage phase growing up, I was really looking forward to this new kit. And while I do feel that the items are a bit too limited this time around–even the previously released kits had a lot more CAS items–I am quite happy with what we’ve got. Here’s my review of Sims 4 Grunge Revival Kit.
~ Sims 4 Grunge Revival Kit Review ~
The Sims 4 game has always lacked a good collection of CAS items for men, but recently I did notice the team has been trying to introduce more items for male sims.
With the Grunge Revival Kit, we get plenty of accessories, tops, bottoms, and full-body outfits for our sims, and the best part is that most of these items are unisex. Here’s my own sim wearing some of my favorite tops, bottoms, and shoes from this kit.
Note: I am only sharing screenshots of the items that I personally liked from the Sims 4 Grunge Revival Kit. If you want to take a look at all of the individual swatches and styles available from each of the items from the Sims 4 Grunge Revival Kit, take a look at this post by Sims Community.
I personally love the party wear outfit ensemble for my sim, and I wish we had a few more tops in that style just to add a little more variation. Also, this kit comes with tons of swatches and styles for each of these tops and bottoms, but I wish there were more variations for hoodies–like cropped hoodies, sleeveless hoodies, etc.
We only get one beanie with this kit, and one necklace, which I personally felt was a very big let-down. But if you are not into those accessories, then I guess you’d be pretty happy with this kit. It’s not a bad deal for $5.
All things considered, The Sims 4 game has way too many bright, pastel-pop colors for their CAS items. So if you want more comfy, run-down or dark-themed CAS items, the Grunge Revival Kit might just be a good pick for you.
