I had the craziest realization today and it is this: if I had been blogging regularly the past few months, today would have marked my very first blogiversary.
Growing up, most of us have heard our fair share of fairy tales about knights in shining armor, princesses locked up in towers and wise caterpillars who smoked pipes and gave words of advice to young girls lost in Wonderland. Somehow, these fairy tales have played a huge role in shaping our childhood and fueling our imagination and creativity. In case of avid readers such as myself, these fairytales had turned me into a bookworm and inspired me to maybe write my own story about magic and myth someday.

Here are some Young Adult fairy tale retellings based on Cinderella, Little Mermaid, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, The 12 Dancing Princesses and much more. I have always loved making book related lists–best fictional couple lists, best action scene lists, best protagonist list, best antagonist list…and so on forth. After finding out how much some readers share my own love for books, and often look for books through lists too, I decided to add my own listopia to the blog.
Some of the listopias here are based on Goodreads with a bit of refining on my part as GR lists often have unrelated books added to them, especially the older ones. Some of the lists are made by me. I may eventually start making listopias on my Goodreads too, but for now here it is:

There. I did it again. I fell for a book with a pretty cover, and now I want back the 6 precious hours of my life I wasted reading a book with loosely tied plot, an irritating and selfish protagonist, and unrealistic bland characters I couldn’t care less about.
